Oscar winner and one of the most iconic actors of his generation, Leonardo DiCaprio recently shared what the next phase of his life looks like. In an interview, he said, “I’m slowing down a little bit” — he doesn’t plan to retire from acting entirely, but he does plan to be more selective in the roles he takes. Explaining his approach, DiCaprio said that sometimes you just can’t say no to opportunities that come your way, especially when it comes to his new film with Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another. He added that it’s more important for him to enjoy the process of creating art rather than chasing awards: “Awards come and go, but the work itself remains.”
